What are your fees?
Dr. Imig’s fees are $500/hour. Ninety minute intake appointment is $750. Sixty minute intake appointment is $500. Fifty minute follow ups are $415 and thirty minute follow-up are $250. A sixty-minute follow up appointment is $500.
Do you take insurance?
Dr. Imig does not accept insurance and is considered an “out of network” provider. You will receive an invoice or super bill once monthly that your insurance carrier might reimburse you for. Psychiatric care is typically a qualified medical expense from HSAs and FSAs.
Do you provide psychotherapy or just prescribe medication(s)?
Every individual is unique. Dr. Imig will develop a customized treatment plan for you based on clinical experience, evidence-based medicine, and empathic understanding of your unique biological, psychological and social variables. Depending on symptoms and severity, some patients respond best to therapy alone. Some respond best to medication treatment. Some benefit from a combination of both. Dr. Imig considers himself a “Physician Therapist” which means he can provide both of these services and will refer out to specialist if your symptoms need care that is beyond his expertise.
Do you also care for adults?
Yes. Dr. Imig enjoys working with adults and has years of experience treating adults.
Are you Board-Certified?
Dr. Imig is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology to treat children, adolescents, and adult patients.
